Continuous casting - An economical production method for round, square and flat bars

Drawing

When it comes to continuous casting, GP is able draw on several decades of experience. GP continuous castings are typified by a dense, fine-grained structure, even with large cross-sections, which results from high static pressure in the drawing ladle and a drawing speed appropriate to the cross-section.

Heat treatment

Depending on the grade we guarantee:

  • extensive freedom from stress
  • improved machinability
  • increased strength
  • heightened toughness with ductile materials
  • high wear resistance

Large permanent stock - Vertical integration according to customer requirements
