Opening of the new machining workshop at the Hain Works

Mr. Ralf Gorski, Director of GP’s Hain Works, spoke on the topic: “Added value and logistics for customer benefit” and explained the high savings potential due to the superior machinability of cast iron.

The event culminated in the handing over of the key by the Kabelschlepp Director Mr. Olaf Hübner to GP Managing Partner Mr. Fritz Spannagel.



The celebration was rounded out with the presentation of the GP school partnership and Wilnsdorf Secondary School by Mr. Frieder Spannagel, member of GP management, (second from left).



After the presentations, GP’s guests were able to find out more about GP during a tour of the works or at various booths and exhibits. The topics “production control station” (systems vendor Ordat), “financial controlling and costing” (RGU foundry software), “training at GP”, ”simulation with Magma”, “Wilnsdorf Secondary School & GP” and “a materials science primer” were represented.
